Bucs Beach Set for Debut at Raymond James Stadium

Bucs Beach Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rolling out another unique amenity at Raymond James Stadium, as the team will debut Bucs Beach on Sunday.

In recent years, NFL teams have spruced up the gameday fan experience with non-traditional stadium amenities, with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ new dog park at TIAA Bank Field serving as one recent example. The Buccaneers are now adding to that trend with Bucs Beach, which will open on Sunday, before the Buccaneers host the Philadelphia Eagles in a 1:00 p.m. game.

Situated outside the gates of Raymond James Stadium, the beach should be a unique entertainment destination. More from Buccaneers.com:

Located on the South Plaza outside the gates, Bucs Beach is the best of both worlds before the game. It’s a radically new entertainment concept complete with music, live performances, tailgate games and photo opportunities. Dance along to a DJ located in the Bud Light Krewe Ship, get your photo taken with your face in a giant Bucs flag, lounge in a hammock or kick back in the sand in an oversized Adirondack chair as you wait for kickoff. Bucs Beach-goers can also sip on signature drinks and choose from a variety of local food trucks each week, showcasing different flavors of Tampa Bay throughout the season.

This isn’t football like you’ve seen before so forget the tales of gamedays past. Bucs Beach gives you your own story to tell every time you come to see Buccaneers football live. It’s a one-of-a-kind gameday experience that’s all about football Florida-style.

Bucs Beach is open three and a half hours before kickoff when the Bucs are home and a game ticket is not needed to enter. Every gameday will bring new art demonstrations, performances, giveaways, prizes and more, making sure to blend fans’ love for the Bay with their love for Buccaneers football.

Bucs Beach is not the only new amenity at Raymond James Stadium this season. Renovations to the East Stadium Club were made over to the offseason, marking the latest upgrade made by the Buccaneers in recent years.
