Oak View Group Facilities Tapped for TIAA Bank Field Events

TIAA Bank Field

The Jacksonville Jaguars recently announced a partnership with Oak View Group Facilities, a move that should be a boost to TIAA Bank Field events.

The Jaguars have worked to make their home stadium a destination for major non-football events, with concerts among the facility’s non-football slate. Partnering with OVG is a move that the organization believes will allow it to bolster stadium events, as OVG is to help bring major touring performers and other entertainment to TIAA Bank Field. For OVG, TIAA Bank Field marks the first NFL stadium among its clients.

The partnership was recently announced by the Jaguars and a sister company, Bold Events. More from the Jacksonville Business Journal:

The California-based firm will focus on attracting national touring concerts, festivals and one-of-a-kind, stand-alone events to expand the entertainment schedule at the stadium year-round. The new partnership offers access to OVG’s connections and relationships with show promoters, producers and creating new and diverse events for the Jacksonville market, the company said of the deal.

“The inaugural year at Daily’s Place was a resounding success, and we’ve seen a huge response to the upcoming stadium show featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jason Alden, and Kid Rock,” Jaguars and Bold Events President Mark Lamping said. “Partnering with an industry leader like OVG Facilities gives us added resources to continue to push the boundaries of in-stadium programming, furthering our goals for downtown Jacksonville as the place to be for locals and visitors alike.”

TIAA Bank Field was formerly known as EverBank Field. The Jaguars announced earlier this year that the stadium’s name was set to change, a move that came after New York-based TIAA acquired Jacksonville-based EverBank Financial Corp. in 2017. TIAA Bank Field’s new name took effect earlier this month.
