Menu Changes Taking Place at Everbank Field

US Assure Club

More details have emerged about the club area renovations at Everbank Field, including some of the menu changes that will go into effect this season.

On Monday, we took a closer look at the upgrades the Jacksonville Jaguars are unveiling at Everbank Field. The US Assure Club areas on the west and east ends of the stadium have both been overhauled, with the team promising distinct atmospheres in each. This continues something of a trend for the Jaguars who, under owner Shad Khan, have made a variety of changes to the fan experience at Everbank Field.

A change that will be evident this year is menu options. To drift from standard gameday cuisine, the Jaguars will overhaul their menu options in the clubs and other areas of the stadium. The change, which comes along with Deleware North as the team’s food service provider, will give fans at Everbank Field some unique options. More from Jacksonville Business Journal:

The emphasis, according to executive chef Sean Kinoshita, is local food with southern influences, including classics like chicken and waffles, redfish, gator sausage and boiled peanuts.

Specialty items, like sushi rolls made on premises, will also be available and were handed out to media representatives on Monday.

Kinoshita said he’s looking to move away from traditional stadium fare and introduce something new to football fans.

“I think it’s changing for the better. There’s more emphasis on fresh cooking, more local food, more farm-to-table,” Kinoshita said.

Another interesting angle to note from the upgrades is the presentation within both club areas. As highlighted here on Monday, both will follow different themes, and that was evident from the Jaguars’ unveiling. The west side reportedly keeps a more standard club area ambiance, while the east side has been overhauled to resemble a gastropub.
